Harrison “Harry” L. Johnston, Jr.

WATERLOO- Harrison “Harry” L. Johnston, Jr., age 85 of Waterloo passed away on Sunday June 10, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.
Family and friends may call on Thursday (June 14) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held on Friday (June 15) at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Phil Tennies will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Harry was born on December 31, 1932 in Geneva the son of the late Harrison, Sr. and Hattie Johnston. He served 9 years in the New York State National Guard. Harry retired after many years from Hartmans in Waterloo and for the last 13 years worked at Advance Auto Parts in Geneva.
He was a former member of the Border City Hose Company and the Geneva Moose Lodge.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Marion; daughter, Linda (Renee Milligan) Johnston of Ithaca; son, Harrison IV (Alice Lafler) Johnston of Waterloo and daughter-in-law, Theresa Johnston of Waterloo; grandchildren, Stacey (Gerardo) Santiago of Waterloo, Harrison V (Angela) Johnston of Canandaigua, Amanda (Kevin) Porter of Waterloo, Mitch Dey of North Carolina, Casey Johnston of Waterloo, Cody Johnston of Waterloo; great granddaughter, Ariana Maribel Santiago of Waterloo; brother, Robert Johnston of Geneva; sister, Marion Jordan of Reading, PA; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Harry was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Ernest Johnston.
