Geneva; Shari L. Elscott, age 54 of Geneva passed away on Sunday January 14, 2018 at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.

Family and friends may call on Friday (Jan.19) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to a cancer association of one’s choice.

Shari was born on June 5, 1963 in Paris, France the daughter of the late Robert and Karen Cowles Harrell. Shari was a dedicated hard worker her entire life. She was previously an office manager at FLH Medical P.C. and presently working in the call center at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua.

Shari enjoyed riding motorcycles and horseback riding and was a former member and E.M.T. of the West Lake Road Fire Association.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Elscott; children, Jamie Chelenza of Geneva, Courtnie (Brad Whittemore) Elscott of Geneva and Amanda (John Cole) Elscott of Geneva; grandson, Caiden Chelenza; sister, Mary Beth (Darrin) Seager of Phelps; aunt, Kathy Cowles of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
