Geneva; Anthony P. O’Donnell, age 78 of Geneva passed away on Saturday December 9, 2017 at Highland Hospital.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday (Dec. 12) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Dec. 13) with prayers at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen’s Church or the House of John 14 Spring St. Clifton Springs, NY 14432.

Tony was born on June 21, 1939 in Boston, MA the son of the late Joseph and Sara D’Antuono O’Donnell. He served in the US Marines and retired after many years from Mobil Chemical in Macedon. Tony was a member and very active in St. Stephen’s Church, a Eucharistic Minister at St. Stephen’s and Living Center North & South and a former member of the parish council. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and a Cub Scout Leader.

Tony is survived by his wife Joanne; children, Mark (Karen) O’Donnell of Fairport, Steven (Jennifer) O’Donnell of Macedon, Kevin (Cherie) O’Donnell of Waterloo and Mary Beth (Mitchell) Helms of North Carolina; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jessica, Shannon, Shane, Rachel, Ryan, Sam, Shawn and Kyle; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack O’Donnell of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Tony was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Joseph O’Donnell.
